Now of course the law is the law, and the copyright regime has treated us well over the past 50 years (especially so for the record companies), but it is time to move on, and the age of the restrictive and creativity stifling copyright is nearly over. I don’t support the deprivation of payment for artists and creative people, but almost anything would be better than the current system, where in most cases it is not the artists who are actually in control of their works. This is not what copyright was designed to do. That’s why this site supports Grey Tuesday and we went gray (sic) for the day.
